Join the Wareham Land Trust on Wednesday, May 7th for a Migrating Bird Walk at the Douglas S. Westgate Conservation Area, led by Town of Wareham Conservation Agent Christine Santos. Spring migration brings some of the most exciting birding of the year, and Wareham's protected lands offer a wonderful window into this seasonal spectacle. Christine will guide participants through the trails, helping identify the species passing through our area and sharing insights into their remarkable journeys. This walk will cover easy to moderate terrain along forested trails. This event is FREE but space is limited. Please bring water, binoculars if you have them, and wear appropriate footwear for uneven ground. Where: Douglas S. Westgate Conservation Area, 29 Papermill Rd., West Wareham, MA When: Thursday, May 7th, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Cancellation Policy: In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled.
