CAMPFIRE GHOST STORIES (Stories • S’mores • Spooky Fun) Why wait for a Friday the 13th? This year, October’s spooky fun begins? TUESDAY THE 13TH?! Join the WFL on Wickets Island for an eerie evening of chilling stories, gooey s’mores & fireside fun! Share your creepiest tale - if you dare - or just sit back and listen! IMPORTANT: Meet at the BBC Boathouse (Onset Pier) by 5:00 PM to catch a ride to the island. Please dress for the weather - rain or shine event. Registration is required. Come for the s’mores. Stay for the scares! BOO!!! This is a FREE collaborative program by the Wareham Free Library & the Buzzards Bay Coalition/Onset Bay Center. NOTE: This program may not be appropriate for children <9 years of age and may even be considered too graphic for sensitive children >9 years! Please consider the Developmental Readiness of your child, as it is generally agreed that a gradual exposure approach works best to test a child's comfort level - 9 years is considered the typical low end of the range where children understand the difference between fiction and reality and actively seek an adrenaline rush.
